Our dental clinic is equipped with dental technology designed to provide a comfortable experience, make your visits faster, and allow us to view your teeth more clearly.
CEREC
The CEREC machine allows us to create customized dental restorations (such as dental crowns and inlays/onlays) in a single visit. Instead of sending restorations to be made in a dental laboratory, which can take several days or even weeks, we can create fully custom restorations while you wait. This allows us to prepare and place them in a single visit, saving you time, appointments, money, and waiting.
Intraoral Scanner
Intraoral scanners are used to map out the teeth and the contours of the inside of your mouth. The scanner is a simple wand that’s waved around the mouth, capturing hundreds of images per second. The resulting 3D image is created as a composite of these images, giving us a detailed overview of your mouth.
iTero Scanner
The iTero scanner allows us to plan precise Invisalign treatments by showing us the exact positioning of your teeth. Using these images, we can plot out the small shifts in your teeth that will need to occur (and their timing), so we can move each tooth into an ideal position.
Dental Lasers
Dental lasers are used for a variety of purposes in dental care. They’re particularly useful when cutting hard or soft tissue, allowing for precise and clean cuts. They also promote faster healing, often reduce pain and discomfort, and can reduce bleeding associated with cutting soft tissue.
VELscope
The VELscope is a tool that can help us detect signs of oral cancer in the soft tissues of the mouth. The handheld device is moved around in the mouth, using fluorescence to illuminate the tissue. Healthy tissues and unhealthy tissues appear differently when the VELscope is used, allowing us to detect health concerns that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
